WHAT WE DO
The Boone Educational Endowment Foundation believes that investing in the young people of our community will pay healthy dividends to all of us. The mission of BEEF is to promote, develop, and foster excellence in all aspects of the Boone Community School District by providing financial support for innovative educational projects not ordinarily provided through the district's operating budget.
BEEF GIVES BACK
To date, BEEF has distributed over $575,000 to the Boone Schools to fund programs and projects that benefit students’ education.

We aim to provide acknowledgements that truly recognize the generosity of our donors and convey our deepest appreciation on behalf of all the students and staff. Contributions of $1,000 or more will appear on on contributor's plaque. This recognition plaque is located in public view at the Boone High School commons. The following categories are shown:

Groups or organizations may collectively contribute; the group will be listed on the recognition plaque in the Boone High School once it reaches the $1,000 threshold.

HOW ARE MY CONTRIBUTIONS USED?
It doesn't! Therein lies the beauty. The Foundation allows only the interest from Foundation's investments to be used. Your investment in the Foundation will not be spent and will continue enriching education in Boone for years to come. Over the years the assets of the foundation have grown to over $620,000 through the generosity of the Boone community. These assets have always been locally managed and invested by the Board of Directors.
Your contribution is an investment in the future of our children and Boone Schools. We are grateful to the generous people who created this endowment, and donors who invest additional funds, that together support the work of teachers and benefit students.
Last year was my first year as EDGE Coordinator and we had several projects we wanted to complete for local businesses but we didn't have the supplies or technology to do so. BEEF supported our students and our community by providing much needed equipment and supplies to help support our student learning and community support through projects. I am very grateful for BEEF as it provides a lot to our students!

BEEF has been an invaluable partner in supporting student learning throughout all levels of the Boone Community School District. The grants we have received have supported academic achievement, social emotional development and provided resources to our students that have ensured equitable access to the curriculum.
